Showing field charts

You can show field charts in the Drawing Window by clicking on the Field Chart button:

• If a node is selected in the Drawing Window, Director shows the field chart for that node. (See Selecting nodes in the Drawing Window.)

• If no node is selected in the Drawing Window, Director instead shows the field chart used by the currently selected node in the Scene Graph panel.

• If no node is selected at all, Director selects the topmost node feeding into the Scene Graph's Output node, and shows the field chart used by that node.

This can be especially useful when using Position nodes such as a Camera or Transform-type node; you can then see the field charts on which they are operating.
